Job Description
The Medical Receptionist at our Kawerau Medical Centre plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of patient appointment systems, providing proficient, warm and welcoming services that reflect Tūhoe values and foster positive community relationships.
This is a part-time role, and the hours of work are Monday to Thursday, 8am to 3pm.
The main responsibilities of our Medical Receptionist include:
Managing all patient enquiries at reception and on the phone
Complete patient bookings ensuring the right appointment, at the right time, with the right health professional
Complete admin duties such as invoicing and banking
Maintain patient records and the database with meticulous attention to detail
Build positive relationships with our community, staff and other stakeholders
The ideal candidate for this role will possess excellent organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a deep commitment to contributing to high standards of patient care.
