Job Description

We are looking for an Office Manager to support our Pet Food and Tannery ventures, ensuring smooth operations, robust compliance, and effective communication across both sites. As the heart of our business, you’ll work closely with our Day-to-Day Manager for Operations and support the wider management team. You’ll play a vital role in upholding core values of care, responsibility, fairness, and service, helping to build strong systems and reliable support for our production teams.  This role will likely suit someone interested in working up to 30 hours per week.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain office processes, filing systems, and document control for both ventures.
  • Coordinate meetings, rosters, training calendars, and daily communications.
  • Support compliance by keeping records, forms, and documentation up to date.
  • Prepare export and shipment paperwork, and support audit processes.
  • Manage health and safety administration, including incident reporting and PPE tracking.
  • Run payroll, process accounting entries, and support stock management.
  • Be the first point of contact for suppliers, verifiers, and visitors.
  • Welcome new staff, organise inductions, and support a positive workplace culture.
  • Prepare operational summaries and assist with governance reporting.
  • Proactively suggest process improvements and support business growth initiatives.

Desired Skills and Experience

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong administration background, ideally in manufacturing, processing, or compliance settings.
  • Experience with RMP systems and audit documentation is an advantage.
  • Proficient computer skills (email, spreadsheets, document management, stock systems).
  • Organised, calm, and able to prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and a respectful, collaborative approach.
  • Relevant administration qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Full driver licence preferred.
  • Able to work safely in processing environments and handle sensitive information with integrity.
