Job Description

About the role:

We are looking for a talented Reporting Lead to transform financial data into clarity, meaning, and confident decision‑making. As the guardian of accuracy and the storyteller of our financial performance, you will provide leadership with the insights needed to navigate opportunities, challenges, and long‑term aspirations.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will play a critical role in strengthening governance visibility, surfacing risks early, and ensuring our financial kōrero is timely, honest, and grounded in evidence. Your mahi will directly influence strategic discussionsCommittee reporting, and the quality of information placed before the CE.

As Reporting Lead, you will turn Group financial data into clear, trusted insight that supports confident leadership and governance decision‑making.

  • Lead Group consolidation across all entities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clear explanations
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly management reporting that highlights trends, risks, and performance insights
  • Coordinate budgeting and forecasting, with transparent assumptions and early visibility of pressures
  • Provide clear variance analysis and financial commentary that explains what’s changing and why it matters
  • Coordinate Group‑level audit responses relating to reporting and financial narrative

Desired Skills and Experience

You will bring:

  • A strong analytical mind and the ability to interpret complex financial results.
  • Proven Management Accounting experience or similar
  • Confidence presenting insights to senior leaders and governance.
  • A disciplined, accurate, and timely approach to reporting.
  • Accounting qualification such as CA/CPA (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience with multi‑entity consolidation.
  • Strong analytical capability and narrative writing skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Proven ability to manage tight deadlines with calm and discipline.
