If you have dreamed of a work, nature and outdoors work-life balance, then consider joining the Tūhoe Medical Centre Team as a Practice Nurse. Tūhoe are the Guardians of Te Urewera – hosting a New Zealand Great Walk - Lake Waikaremoana, mountainous areas, deep and ancient forests, we are a tramping, hunting and fishing mecca, with some of the best beaches in the country close by.
We offer competitive remuneration alongside no traffic, a choice of rural urban living and indigenous communities that are leading innovative technologies in eco-village design, tourism, cultural experiences and even roading materials and design.
We are innovative in our approach to healthcare too. We take pride in our holistic approach, recognising the interconnected nature of health and wellbeing. Our supportive and passionate teams strive to provide exceptional care to whanau and are committed to breaking the dependency of healthcare norms.
We are growing; we have four medical centres in different locations across our region. Because of this we have a vacancy for two Practice Nurses to enhance our existing whānau-centred primary care. While we are primarily seeking permanent staff, there is flexibility for fixed-term or casual employment. In this role, you will deliver efficient, effective, and professional nursing services to the Kawerau and Taneātua/Ruātoki communities.
